I just enrolled back in the drug and alcohol counseling with Horizon. My former counselor Yolanda Ibarra, who I had for three years was fantastic and now with the my new counselor that I just saw today on June 30, Rashida I feel a good rapport and very comfortable telling my story. The receptionist also today and I forgot her name was very friendly and personable. I sent up an appointment first week in August and the intake was amazing. MJ was very nice! Was told I would get an appointment for my kiddo in a week or so. Called several times. 6 weeks later I had a in home appointment scheduled for them to come, they never called , they never showed up. It’s October now and still no appointment with them. If you have a crisis forms someone else for your kiddo!

I got childcare arrangements and drove 40 minutes for my appointment. When I arrived I was told the doctor was not actually there and it would be a zoom/telehealth meeting. The front office staff also seemed confused I was there even though I was told to arrive 30 minutes early. They even called morning of to make sure I was still coming and never mentioned it would be a telehealth call. I could have done that at home. I found it all very unprofessional.
