I saw Dr. Micah Thompson on March 30th. I scheduled the yearly physical visit at the end of January to use my preventative care benefits through my insurance. A week later I got a bill stating I was seen for a sick visit. This wasn’t accurate as I had schedule 6 weeks prior and requested a preventative care visit. I just spent 7 days in the hospital, the Nurses and Aids that took care of me while I was there. Are the most wonderful and absolutely amazing group of folks that have ever taken care of me before. Also the cafeteria staff are also absolutely top notch folks. We are so very luckily to have such an amazing hospital in our community.
My wife was brought to the hospital by ambulance. She called me crying and needed me, so I left work immediately and went straight there. She gave me her room number, so I went to the front desk and asked to go back to be with her. The nurse on duty was on the phone. I waited for 15 minutes while my wife was still calling and texting me, crying for me to come back. When I asked again, I was told I couldn’t go back to see her.
