I only make an appointment annually since 2023 And I have found that Receptionist is unwelcoming. The atmosphere is weird And I find my visits unpleasant, but not due to the doctor themselves. It is currently beginning of May 2026, I have called on three separate occasions during business hours within a weeks time and always get the voicemail. I don’t wanna leave a message. I came to this office based on a recommendation. Although Dr. Zarella conducted a thorough exam to see if he could help my issue, his bedside manner is terrible. He’s so caught up on being right and correcting how someone speaks, instead of listening to the issue at hand of what brought them to his clinic. He cut me off multiple times as I was speaking, and attempted to disguise his snide condescending comments as jokes. I had such a great experience with Dr. Koza and Horizon Family Eye Care. One morning, I called early because I was experiencing a lot of irritation in my eye, light sensitivity, redness, and pain. It didn’t feel like typical pink eye; it felt like something more serious. They were able to fit me in that same day, and I’m so grateful they did. The visit made me uncomfortable. Dr. Z’s behavior was very weird and not welcoming. After seeing other similar reviews, I know I’m not alone in this experience. I won’t be returning.
the vibes are weird - just feels uncomfortable/not hospitable really walking in, white people staring at you moment fr - went to a different eye glasses place and they were able to help me more
