If you can’t hire people in a grocery store to just be nice and say hello to customers, you’re in the wrong business. My final straw was “Acacia” who chatted enthusiastically with her coworker while she refused to look at me or start scanning my groceries. I said hi 3 times and she looked at me cold as ice and said hi back on the third, but only at the convenience of her primary focus, which was chatting with a coworker.
