Hello, I am Carl Hopper; owner of Hopper Roofing LLC and a licensed, insured and bonded roofing contractor for the state of Alabama. I specialize in working with the home owners insurance to fully/partially replace homeowners shingled or metal roof, gutters, fascia and soffit and just about anything else you might imagine. I also do repairs and conduct free estimates and inspections. I am a small business owner with little-to-no overhead; and a two time Iraqi war veteran.

After completed the roof installation, I found out that synthetic underlayment was not used in one section of the roof. See photo. They have to come back and fix it...which they did. I do not know if any other area of the roof where synthetic underlayment was also not used. I would have to hire a new contractor to inspect the roof later. Then, came the rain, the brand new roof leaked in 3 places, they have to fix the leaking roof, and the ceilings and repaint it, which they did.
