Dr. Hopkins has my utmost trust!! I have been seeing him since January of 2017. I have moved 5 hours away, but when it is time to get my annual exam I drive the distance. He has been compassionate, and is humble. I trusted him with my life and am so sad to see him retire!!
Dr. Hopkins did my hysterectomy on January 15, 2015 at Aultman Hospital. I was 72 years old at the time. During initial office visit he sat down and explained what needed to be done. Upon him entering the room I felt confident in his ability. After talking to my husband after the surgery, my husband was extremely impressed by him. If need ever arises I would happily call on Dr. Hopkins again! As you might expect, .....surgery was a success!!!
I love Dr Hopkins he has taken away all of my stress concerning gyno cancer, My previous Dr kept me so stressed over minor things. I have had Breast cancer 3 times and I have had enough stress. Dr Hopkins gets you in and out , he answers any questions that I have. I hate to see him retire.
Seventeen years later I am still here. I had a bout with ovarian cancer. Recently another situation came up. I really trust his decision making. Feel confident with this OBGYN. Good diagnostic skills. Sometimes I hear or read about people complaining about their cancer as if it is the fault of the MD. Stupid.
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Poor patient care. Wait 2 hours to see doctor for 1 minute, tells you you have cancer and then directs you to schedule with a nurse for surgery. Does not consult with patients, work on treatment planning/ options or education. Do to this doctor's poor decisions I was dx with a third cancer, following transferring to a new provider. With chemo and removal of ovary this could have been prevented.
He is a wonderful doctor and saved my life twice. He is a compassionate, caring, doctor with a great bedside manner. Excellent!
He never informs patient about anything it's too short. I had dysplasia and he recommended LEEP. I visited his office twice and he never did the HPV genotyping that is a standard protocol in people with dysplasia plus I'm over 30 so he should definitely do that.
