We are a family run garage in Edinburgh which has been established since 1936, Hope Scott Garage was famous for its Formula Atlantic racing team In the 1980’s, we have a fully equipped workshop for repairs and MOTs. All our used cars are hand picked by our managing director and sons.

We have used Hope Scott Garage since we moved to Balerno in 1997. They have always been excellent! This time we had an issue with both the clutch and the gearbox. Their communication and technical excellence means our car now feels better than it did before the issue developed. Chapeau chaps, we will always use you. P.s. We only ever buy cars from Hope Scott.

Recently got my BMW X1 repaired at Hope Scott. Positive experience all round. Whilst talking to the garage got interested in exchanging my car for one they were selling but eventually missed out on it due to delay on my part. Will keep an eye out as stock refreshes regularly. Thanks
