Had to change doctors the first one took a file from 6 years ago and stab me in the back with it, he spoke poor English, second doctor keeps pushing medication, in which I'm legally refusing due to side affects and damage it's doing to my body and she speaks poor English as well. They are in no way helping me with me mental health issues. I've decided to move from this crap hole to the Okanagan far away from here.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the HOpe center and the services they offer with respect to mental health. If your afraid of being certified, please read: beautiful moments are created at HOpe centers psychiatric ward. I had some of the best times of my life here with the patients and staff. The ward on floor 4 is an excellent facility for anyone suffering from mental health issues in need of a place to get centered and back on their feet. I was nervous to go based on the reviews. I had to wait a while to get in. Everyone I have dealt with has been very good to me. Perhaps changes have made since these reviews. So I recommend trying. Keep an open mind. I can’t complain. It is a free service and I’m taking charge of my own journey to wellness which feels like a success in and of itself.
