She was very short, almost abrasive. It had been my experience to be greeted, with kindness, a handshake and smile. When the doctor entered the room, she not only avoided doing any of those things but actually walked around my extended hand to sit down. My past medical history, prescriptions, etc. were never discussed. The best thing about this facility is the front desk staff; they are truly wonderful. Hope to never see that doctor again.
Dr. Hoover is one of the best doctors I have ever had she, listens and truly cares about your condition(s) and has answers which shows her expertise in the field of medicine. Unlike other doctors I've had in the past she understands how patients with chronic pain are and does not treat them like they are simply drug seekers even though, there are some who are and make it difficult for the people who truly trying to do the right thing. She is also a brilliant teacher/mentor for new doctors.
She cares about her patients, family has been going to her foe decades, took care of me when I had been admitted to southwestern and she was more worried I was okay then just fill me up with med school and send me home....very special Dr thank you Dr hoover hope to get into see her again
