Highly recommend! Mr. Hoots has been preparing our taxes for the past 20 years. He and his staff are top notch and professional in all regards. In addition to taxes, we previously retained him for advice and counseling on a successful real estate investment on the Oregon Coast. Mr. Hoots is absolutely world class, smart and accurate in everything he does. There are lots of tax professionals here in Florida, but Mr. Hoots in Salem, Oregon remains our only choice! Thank you!
This organization is an absolute joke. Amy, Monica and everybody that works there are absolutely horrible. They will give you the runaround. They won’t help you. They really have little professionalism. Run far far away from this company and organization never use them for accounting services whatsoever. They are selling the company and not telling their customers.
Made the mistake of choosing these clowns to prepare the simplest final decedent income tax returns imaginable - not only did they take 2 months to prepare 2 tiny returns (nearly missing the filing deadline) and charge me nearly a thousand dollars, they then also messed up both the state AND federal returns, one of which I am still working to fix nearly 10 months later. Edit: Really wish I had read the other reviews before I went here, it sounds like these guys are scam-artists.
I called with a question about my mother who had passed away and her estate was in probate.. I needed help.. but instead the woman I spoke to talked down to me and acted like I was stupid. Wonderful way to treat someone in bereavement.
