Our air conditioner quit blowing cold air one week after I had a major surgery ... and, as luck would have it, during a warm spell. Our house was hot and humid and I was miserable. I called Hoot Owl first thing Monday morning and by Monday afternoon a tech was at my home, had diagnosed the issue, but didn't have the part on his truck. Our thermocouple went out on our furnace in the middle of a snowstorm and a very cold snap today! I talked to Kim who had Creston (the only tech working today) come out about 15 minutes after I called. He was able to get a new thermocouple in our relic of a furnace in no time flat! He explained to us what he did and was very polite! I highly recommend them!
I just wanted to give an update. I got ahold of Ian who is wonderful! He is the owner. He took immediate action and while it was still a bit of a process to get it fixed....he got it fixed!! My mom had a new wall furnace installed and it has caught fire four times. They have come to look at it and fix various parts without actually fixing the unit. Now there is a foot of snow on the ground and severely cold weather and my mom still does NOT have a working furnace. She has been left hanging with nothing but space heaters. We needed a complete HVAC system installed including new duct work and hot water heater in our older home. After getting 3 bids we choose Hoot Owl for the job. The owner was responsive and informative when we had questions. The technicians were respectful and finished the job in a timely manner.
