I had such a positive experience working with Kelleen, Lauryn, and Rachel. All three were incredibly kind, warm, and supportive throughout the process. Even though I ultimately chose not to move forward with revising a lip and tongue tie, they were still very helpful and respectful of my decision. They offered thoughtful guidance, recommended helpful stretches and remedies, and truly took the time to support me and my baby. Hoosier Breast Friend has been a very mixed experience for me. Jessica is an outstanding lactation consultant—truly the best part of this entire practice. She is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and made me feel supported every step of the way. I would recommend Jessica all day long. Unfortunately, my experience with Kolleen was the opposite. Hoosier Breast Friend was an excellent resource overall. My sister-in-law told me about an online course for breastfeeding through Hoosier Breast Friend which was led by Kelleen. The class was VERY informative and practical- not overwhelming- especially for a first time mom. I liked the class/instructor so much that I hired Kelleen to be my doula. I’ve used them for both my babies now and love everything they have to offer! I’ve worked with Keleen both times and she has not only been helpful but very responsive when I texted her questions or concerns! She’s friendly and patient with new moms. Both my kids have had ties and she was able to help me find comfortable positions for them to latch and ensure they’re healthy and gaining weight .
