My 4Runner started misfiring on my way to Payette from McCall for my son's wrestling meet. I got a hold of Daniel and he showed up within 30 minutes to the school parking lot. He was able to troubleshoot and repair the vehicle all before our 2-hour drive back home. Daniel was friendly, professional, and fair with the cost - especially given the urgency and response time. I choose Hoopmans as they had good reviews and I needed a local mobile mechanic. My no-start issue was diagnosed and resolved but the the oil light was on (never been on before) and the manual 4x4 under the dash was left disconnected. I checked the oil, and the oil gauge would show, then disappear. It appeared to be a faulty gauge. I checked wiring, re-connected 4x4 and then drove the truck. This is the first review I’ve ever written and it couldn’t be more deserving. If you’re in the area and having car problems, you would be doing yourself a disservice by calling anyone other than Daniel. Was moving across the country when I ran into some problems. I found Hoopmans Automotive on google and he was incredibly helpful and communicative, even paid extra to get the part in quicker to get me back on the road.
