I've been visiting Hoopdriver since it was on College St. and have always had great experience and work done. Martin is great and extremely knowledgeable!
I heard that Martin was the guy to bring retro steel frame bikes back to life and he did not disappoint! I recently took on my dad's '92 Specialized Crossroads which has sat neglected on a balcony for a couple of decades and I brought it in with the goal of tuning it up and replacing anything that needed replacing while maintaining its original character and aesthetic. Went there today for the first time, needed an inner tube. The person working (I assume the owner) was helpful, friendly, and quick. In and out in a few minutes with exactly what I came for. Bonus - he was playing rad music. I’ll be back!
Great selection of bicycle parts. Can get anything you need as long as you bring patience.
Picked up some tubes and tire bars for my first tire change, super friendly and great advice. Support local businesses!
