Dr. Hoon Choi is by far the best spine neurosurgeon in Florida. I visited several spine surgeons before driving all the way down to Weston to visit Dr. Choi. He offered the best minimally invasive procedure available with little down time... and I was back in the gym within weeks! Almost completely pain free now after one year and about to have all the fusion hardware removed since I'm completely fused. The surgery work was good, but his follow up, after care, repeated cancelling my appointments with little notice have left me suffering in pain. I can not recommend him any longer after my last visit for his opinion, as requested by my pain management doctor, was outright cancelled "he has no need to see me". Cleveland Clinic only wants the money, then they delay and bump you repeatedly until you didn't want to return. So very very disappointed.
What a relief for me to know I have finally met a warm, engaging and brilliant spine surgeon such as Dr. Choi, whom I feel I can trust with my healhcare. My previous encounter with another specialist left me feeling forboding and anxious. After speaking briefly with Dr. Choi, I immediately felt less anxious about the surgery and ready to proceed with the next step. He has a way of reassuring you of a good outcome. Thank you Dr. Choi!
