They rely on donations only. They are an amazing resource. Sunday's are family days Noon to 4p. Don't bring anything, all bait and poles provided!
I was there the same day these people were there. My husband is disabled and the helpers were so good to him. He really enjoyed his day
I took my grandpa out for the family fishing (noon to 4pm on Sundays) and had a great time. I didn't catch anything but I enjoyed watching my grandpa catch two bluegill and overall just have a blast. He is 82 and can't get out to do the things he did when he was younger like fish and hunt. During his most recent stay in a nursing home he was taken out on a trip to Hooked on Fishing. It was great Dan the was great person and the staff
We have been a couple times and totally enjoyed ourselves. ..volunteers shared their love and knowledge of fishing with our 6 year old and were just add excited as we were. ..Dan is a class act and we would gladly support him and his passion for fishing and teaching everyone not just kids
My kids LOVE Fishing and this place is awesome :) The staff are extra friendly and super helpful. I'm so glad that we heard about the Fishing Derby. We will definitely be back!
I was recently there they had a group there and was told we couldn't fish except for Sunday's that's open fishing day and told my son was to young for the program he loves fishing and was really upset we couldn't and I was told we had to book a reservation we have been allowed in the past to come and fish even if an event was going on and not happy we can't now it is only the two of us this is a great program but should have more open fishing days
