I paid $600 for the installation. The installer was friendly and professional, but I left a little disappointed. The power wire used wasn’t 100% OFC copper as I expected, the amplifier wasn’t tuned after installation, and I ended up having to troubleshoot the system myself. The work functions, but for the price I expected more attention to the electrical setup and final tuning. Also the clipping monitor is not even working
I called asking for a simple speaker cover solution and he had no problem assessing and coming up with a quick fix (i was rushed) for my vehicle. I could see they were practical and offered a very reasonable price. I will be back to complete a speaker swap soon.
I was installing a new head unit and had been calling around looking for the interface and after the 4th time of being told they could order it for me and it would take a week or more to get in. Next up was Hook Up Your System and since it was only a couple blocks from my house I drove over. And while they didn't have it either, Luis told me that he could pick it up and have it for me first thing in the morning. So I paid and gave him my number. Great service, fast, honest and quality work. He's my audio guy period.
Louis was super helpful, had stopped by sound warehouse just before visiting hook up your system. Sound warehouse only wanted to give me one choice of speaker even though there were other options I saw on their website. Louis showed me what he had what they run and what his recommendation was. Highly recommend! Installation price here is beyond fair!
