As soon as we got the truck, the transmission broke down. The dealer only contributed $1,000 toward the repairs and then sent a replacement transmission that didn’t even fit the truck. Because of that, I had to have the original transmission rebuilt, which cost me about $6,000, plus another $2,800 in labor. The communication throughout the entire process was terrible. I had a great experience dealing with Hook Equipment, especially Tom. He helped me get into a 2007 GMC C8500 and made the whole process smooth as hell. Tom is a straight shooter—no BS, no pressure. He knows his stuff and took the time to go over the truck with me, answer all my questions, and make sure I was getting exactly what I needed.
