Well the oyster bar I'm in tell me I'm eating hood canal oysters! They are awesome!
Tried to visit Hood Canal Seafood this weekend to get some oysters and clams but it appears that they may be out of business. The phone number goes to a weird telemarketer message so we drove out to the address on Thunder Ridge road. It was a house that clearly had some commercial fishing going on, but the woman at the door had no idea what Hood Canal Seafood was. Bummer.
The most frustrating experience in a long time. Called and emailed for weeks trying to change the delivery date of our order. They did not respond to repeated voice messages and emails. Changed our travel plans to be home for delivery - and it did not arrive! Never again!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE - THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY. Absolutely the most miserable service experience of my life - worse than the phone and cable companies or the IRS. I've been trying since July 2012 to get a Groupon order fulfilled. Last promised delivery in Dec - a 5-month wait! Emailed early Jan 2013 when the order wasn't received and haven't heard back in the intervening weeks. The phone number is dead. I ordered Oysters from here twice, the first order was good the second time my oysters arrived smelly and bad. I called to report without an answer, customer service its pretty bad.
