Easily a 5/5 stop for seafood lovers. The hush puppies and shrimp Rockefeller are both really good. Hush puppies are nicely golden brown crispy without being dry on the inside and seasoned well. The Rockefeller though, primo. Nice parmesan crust on the shrimp, perfectly cooked so to have a nice snap and not be burnt or dry.
I don’t know what happened but NOTHING IS THE SAME!! Everything has changed and is not good!! We had to wait for over an hour for our food , everyone that was working looked lost! Food was horrible! I came here weekly because I loved everything about this place! But if this is what it’s going to be I will NEVER COME BACK!!😡😡😡
If you have not tried Hoochies new menu downtown Denton do yourself a favor and pop in. Boss man took all of us there for lunch. How often do you have a team of 8 that all loved their food! From the presentation to the wait staff top notch!!!
Since the reboot this restaurant has went down on service. I order grilled chicken tacos once or twice a week. The prices have went up and the quality of what I'm receiving has went down. Depending on who's working what day you may receive a taco with one piece of chicken on it with little cabbage and no cilantro with little Chipotle sauce. These tacos used to be PACKED for a lot less money. Either get consistent or lose me as a customer.
Excellent food . Had the Friday special. Catfish and 2 shrimp with huge hush puppies and fries. Wife had the same but grilled instead of fries ( gluten free diet). Both were yum yum.
