I have had bad experiences myself, but so has my ill mother. I will start with my mother's experience that prompted me to write this review. My mom has had heart surgery and brain surgeries in the past, and has been on Methodone and opiate pain medications for many years now for her many ailments. She was admitted to this hospital and she had her narcotic pills with her, in their original bottles. The nurse saw her open purse, saw the pill bottles, and took them. This was a week ago. HonorHealth Outpatient Therapy Services - Shea Excessive billing billed multiple charges for each visit although each visit was the same exercise using stretch bands. When I contacted the billing office I was advised that these charges were the norm charged to everyone receiving physical therapy: you are billed a facility fee of $388 as well as the physical therapy fee of $188 for each visit and the initial visit also charges $396 for an evaluation. 1.) Issue: The last name of both infants were spelled incorrectly on their birth certificates and social security cards. Absolute worst experience in over 50 years at a hospital. Had a procedure scheduled for my mother who has Parkinson's and dementia, filled out endless admittance forms (it would seem for no reason) as no one read them. They were 2 hours late getting her in for surgery, attending didn't update her chart for another 5 hrs so she wasn't able to get her Parkinson's meds along with her other prescribed meds until way past the optimum time. The worst care I've come across from a the nursing staff at a hospital. The nurses in the birthing center are rude and act annoyed when they are needed. The bedside manner is severely lacking and I would recommend Scottsdale Osborn over this location to anyone considering having their baby at this location. Future patients beware of lackadaisical care and rude behavior from staff. Go at your own risk! I cannot believe the management actually okay with this!
If I could give this hospital NO STARS, I would! This hospital is TERRIBLE! Similar to the writer below, Denise S., my hospitalizations was similar. But perhaps a tad worse! This hospital is beyond terrible. I fell and broke my shoulder was admitted and from then on it was a NIGHTMARE. a steady stream of specialists to soak medicare and my secondary ins with charges. I was diagnosed with heart problems that were not true, yelled at and had to stay awake 24/7 to be sure of what meds they stuck in my IV were not on my allergy list. I have been to this facility after a car accident and truthfully I wasn't impressed. They redeemed themselves yesterday when my son was injured Thursday night playing football for the school. He hurt his shoulder. Hoping it was just sore I took him in anyway to have it looked out. They were prompt, friendly and thorough with his exam and care. They are the worst Hospital I ever been to...The care is substandard and they did not treat me for C-DIF but instead let me go saying it was my fault I was sick cause of my medication...I took the meds home and got better from C-DIF on my own...Stay away from this hospital,they pass the buck.
