Long overdue review. Javier has been cutting my hair since maybe 2022 and i can not find another barber who can cut as good as him. He moved away for a while and I was struggling . I now live in north county and I come down every couple months to get a real cut. The guy makes the effort to understand the style Im going for and he takes the time to understand my concerns. All the while cracking jokes with John and patrons. If you’re struggling to find the right barber give Javier a shot. 🤙

Awesome barbershop in the La Mesa neighborhood! Laurentino gave me a clean haircut and we had great conversation. Hot towel on neck, Straight razor neck shave was a nice touch. Will definitely be back and recommend both him and the barbershop!
Follow up: I do not remember anyone taking my name when I walked in but it was a few months ago?. I do not make appointments for that very reason. Everything about the visit was weird. Again, I was looking for a real barber experience and definitely did not find it here. Typical response from a business trying to blame or not recognize the customer. Great haircut experience! Jon’s attention to detail was excellent, and it was done exactly as requested. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a quality haircut, a great vibe, and a much better cut than other places near La Mesa. I’ll definitely be returning
