I visited their Beretania location today to help an elderly family member and was pleasantly surprised. First, I'll start off by saying that the location is very convenient. It's in town and only a couple mins away from multiple freeway off-ramps. There is also tons of ample parking, which is super hard to come by on this stretch of Beretania. I've only been with HOCU for a few months but they are always awesome! I've had my bank account hacked multiple times and at this branch they are able to create a new debit card in minutes. They are all friendly and polite, I couldn't be happier.
I’ve been a member at HOCU for a while now. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with my banking needs here - whether it’s for my Kasasa Checking, savings account, or their awesome events. The staff (especially the ladies in the lobby) are so friendly and personable. They always answer any questions I have about my accounts and always guided me in the right direction. The branch is also in a good town location with lots of parking (hard to find in this area). Highly recommend to anyone who lives nearby.
The worst bank I had ever had to deal with in my life. I started an account here to get a safe deposit box. That ordeal lasted an hour and a half. Later in the week, I recieved a phone call saying my access wasn't complete! They somehow forgot to get biometrics. My previous visit, consisted of me going back and forth from the sitting area to the counter to the safe deposit box, only to be told by phone days later the process was not complete.
