I took my mom to see Doctor Yang. I felt so bad for my her. Dr. Yang has 0 bedside manners. First, she walked in with gloves on and didn't change them. Second, before she said hello, she told my mom that she heard she had vertigo and that is not her specialty. My mother never said she went there for vertigo. It just so happens that she woke up with vertigo that particular day. Dr. Yang is a terrific rheumatologist! My quarterly visits are always very pleasant and I feel very well taken care of and safe in her hands.
The appointment was hectic! I requested a second opinion to find a more "human" rheumatologist to help me understand my conditions and can guide me thru them. She kept telling me repeatedly: You have a lot of issues; I am not changing your medication, I am not giving you more medication, and so on. Then I asked why my neuropathy was getting worse; she told me that was not her specialty; I asked her why I felt like a truck ran me over every day, and she said that had anything to do with me.
