I filed for bankruptcy through Hong Law. They were awsome. The only thing I would say is they can do a little better with communication. They did answer my emails eventually but didn't call me back. Other then that they did exactly what I hired them to do and they did a great jon doing it. They have been very honest with me and my wife.
My experience with this attorney was awful. I provided a full and clear list of my debts, yet over 40 debts were not included in my bankruptcy filing. I reached out countless times by phone, email, and even certified mail, and no one ever responded to help fix the mistakes. What made this even worse is that the firm continued to take my money, even while they ignored my calls and made no effort to correct the errors or provide any guidance. Derek is good and so was Amy, until I was referred to Ash Auto by them and now it’s a mess , Derek got involved, I thought to help but no it wasn’t. 5 months of trying to call and he won’t return my call. He’s a joke and so is this law firm. Please don’t use them , I don’t want anyone else to be in this situation. Do not use Ash Auto either. Time to file a complaint with the State of Iowa . Do not recommend this Law firm or Ash Auto
Horrible communication. I hired them to handle my bankruptcy. They did do this and I have gotten my discharge, but they are supposed to be handling my mortgage reaffirmation with my mortgage company and they have done nothing with that and they won’t return a phone call, email or text. When you try their online chat it’s answered by a bot and it does absolutely no good. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!
