Ive lived in the Boston area all my life. Ive also traveled the world, especially all over Asia. It is this simple: It is HARD to find a Chinese restaurant that has been this good for so long anywhere. Other restaurants have had their moment in the sun, but the Hong Kong Eatery is still there, chugging away, serving food as good, if not better, then when it first opened. The proof is in the diners. I went there with relatives a few times. The food was okay. When I went there w/ my boyfriend, the food was ehhh for the most part, but we found a hair in our food and because we had already eaten some of it (the hair was on the bottom), they would not give us a discount or do anything to make up for that disgusting discovery. It took forever to just explain to the waitress that there was a hair. Even when we showed it to her in plain sight, she still didnt really understand! So needless to say: NO TIP!
