I am currently involved in a malpractice action with her in Santa Clara court. And there are 2 pending at least dental board Reviews
Dr Hong would argue with her assistant while performing surgery on me. Made me very uncomfortable. Every time I went for an appointment, she would find "new problems" with my teeth that were not there 2 weeks before when she examined them. Overcharges for procedures. Treatment plan set at initial visit total cost increased with every visit. She's impatient when you ask questions. Not recommended!
Dr. Sook Hong is the most skillful, careful dentist I've ever had. I recommend her highly, especially to those who have particularly bad dental situations. She's also a doctor of naturopathy, so she understands much more than the mechanics of teeth. An outstanding dentist.
