RecommendedThis is one of the best pools in our area. I miss it so much this summer due to the Covid Precautions.
The lifeguards are very rude. An older lifeguard told my children that they had to jump from the upper deck. I told her that didn’t seem safe because it’s such a far jump out for little ones. My four year old autistic child immediately jumped and cracked his hip on the lower level deck. It doesn’t seem like a safe policy and it left a giant bruise on his leg. The pool is not safe, especially for children with special needs.

To anyone who knows someone or has children with physical limitations or a wheelchair who wants to know where to take them swimming this summer, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Mark C. Honeywell pool in Wabash, IN. We went there today and it was an awesome experience. There is a chair lift for the big pool and the kid pool was completely accessible as well.
