This is a good climb on a cool morning. It is surprisingly vertical for the whitsundays but the grade is reasonable compared to what you find in more mountainous areas. The path is well worn so it is doable as a trail run for those in great shape.
Pretty hard trail with a 7 and 8yo (who are used to hikes), but maybe it was hard because we wanted to be there for sunset so we just rushed to the top. The view was amazing!
