I am a deeply southern raised lady and this place is fantastic ! The fried okra was on point ! The hot honey boa were amazing and the chicken with sides were all excellent ! I was nervous to order the collard greens because that’s my New Year’s Day family dinner every year and those were also amazingly good. We ate until we could not love and still had leftovers !
We like the tenders. Sauce on the side. EDIT: the "fritters" or Arancini's were cold in the middle. We sent them back, they were still cold. I ate some of them anyway to not cause anymore trouble. Which trouble was already in motion as the tenders were then over cooked and too crispy, probably out of fear they would serve cold food 3 times in a row. I've had a lot of good meals here, and this was not one of them.
Chicken biscuits, donuts, and coffees were all delicious! Price is worth it. The tiramisu iced coffee and earl grey donut were my favorite.
