Best store like it in the area
I looked up when the co-op was started. 1976. I was attending an Albany college, and used to walk or take the bus to Quail St. The co-o-was great then, just quite a bit smaller. Still had organic and health foods. I joined as a member about 20 years later and while I don’t volunteer there anymore, I do like to shop there and stock up on favorites. They’re not as close to me anymore, but I try to go there periodically and still like them better than that other chain organic grocery store (you know who I mean).
Lots of great things to choose from. plants, herbs fruits, vegetables, essential oils, etc. etc. etc.😊 Everyone was very helpful. We didn't even get through the whole store. Have to go back!
This is a great store in this area.
I used to love it there, but over the past several months, so many of the products I have purchased went bad and I had to toss out so much. That's a major turn off especially when their prices are super high. Started shopping at Whole Foods, their prices are much better and I don't have to toss anything anymore.
I not only feel good about the food choices that I purchase but I can also recycle my glass jars, paper bags, unfortunately plastics too and reuse them to put food in that I purchase here. Just remember to get the containers weighed at the service desk first so you aren't paying for the container's weight.

the breakfast sandwich salmon burger+the cold killer is the best value at the juice bar albeit 4not being organic
