Was quoted 4200 for an ac repair. with 3500 in labor costs Went to the Meineke Down the road fixed the same day for $600
Took my car in because of issues, and instead of charging me as much as they could, Honest1 figured out the car was still under warranty and encouraged me to take it the dealership instead. They also didn't charge me for the diagnostics they had already run, which I thought was pretty swell. I cannot comment on the quality of work, but I am pleased they didn't just find ways to charge me money and instead found me ways to save money. Not every mechanic will do that.
I would steer clear of this place. Anything but honest. The first time I tried this place, I went in because my car was making a noise. They told me I needed new tires, and alignment. Keep in mind I just put new tire on my car a year ago and I mainly work from home. I questioned the guy on why he recommended new tires when I literally got them a year ago… he said the tread was bad. I left and went to a tire shop. I recently took my car in for an oil change and light maintenance work to Honest-1 Auto on Dale Mabry and have found my new mechanic. I felt they were fair and the work was done quickly and done well. I have been stuck in a rut taking my car to the dealer for everything so I would not have to take a chance on a new place but now am very glad I tried Honest-1 Auto. Much better experience overall verses dealing with the dealer, and Willie was very pleasant to work with.
