Tanner Hone portrayed himself as a general contractor. He came with another individual to do a bid on a deck to be built. $20k. Demanded 75% upfront, I gave him 70% upfront. So $14k I gave him. They started to build the deck and it turned out to be awful! Everything is done wrong. Had an inspector come and he said the deck needs to be taken apart and rebuilt correctly. They don't obtain permits, they aren't even licensed for anything other than plumbing, yet they advertise for concrete, decks and more. They verbally quoted me for one thing, then when the paper quote came in, it was something different. I wouldn't recommend Tanner Hone, Arturo, or the contractors he hires to do the work for him.
