I went in with a check engine light and asked for them to scan the car so I can decide what to do. They proceed to tell me it's $100 to diagnose the issue. I'm happy to pay for people's time but I'm not paying $100 for you to simply plug in the OBD2 scan tool and read a code to me. And why such an arbitrary number? Why not a time? 10-15 minutes of your time is already overkill but you want to charge me 1-2hrs... Absolute joke. Don't bother with these rip off merchants.
After much searching and confirming the part number would be on the correct side of the car and the correct color, I said a prayer and crossed my fingers and hit "buy." The part came within few business days and snapped right into place and I could just cry happy tears!!!
