Horrendous experience.Ive been accustomed to horrible experiences with Honda of the Avenues but this one has made me feel obligated to share.I set an appointment to get an oil change. When I arrived the ************** was closed, already signaling this would be an ordeal. Nevertheless, I pull in to Service to see no appointment screens were on and one individual helping a full lane. After 10 minutes I was finally helped. Purchased a refundable warranty and maintenance plan at this location. I was assured it was accepted ********** and I would have no issues using it. As soon as I went out of town I had issues using it. I even had a Honda rep. **** me there's no way that I bought a maintenance plan because those are not sold by Honda. After showing the paperwork proving I bought a maintenance plan, I was advised that I should request a refund immediately because the plan was c*** For over a month. ********** By far the worst dealership I have dealt with in my many years. **************** is pathetic. Purchased a ********************* Pilot due to its high rating. Have owned many Acuras since 1987 but felt like the Pilot was a better value. Problems started in beginning with the purchase. They gave me a fair price but when I asked for the free generator they were advertising with any purchase ,they said it only applies to paying full price.??? I went to The Honda of the avenues to get a button on my master switch on the driver's side fixed. I was told that the whole switch needed to be replaced, -- it did not, all the other buttons worked. To replace the switch I was quoted $533.74, also was told that the same door window regulator was not working and that would be $846.56, -- I went to a mechanic that I know, and he said they were trying to rob me. This is probably the worst dealership Ive ever had the displeasure of taking my car to for service. I brought my van to them because it had 2 recalls that needed to be completed and our rear entertainment center was not working. I also asked them to take a look at the drivers side sliding door handle, because the handle had recently stopped working. They fix the recalls, and my warranty covered the rear entertainment center (thankfully) but they said the door handle was because it was opened too hard once and broke the thing... read more

I purchased a "certified" pre owned Honda Odyssey three weeks ago. I paid an extra $2000 for them to slap that word on there. Since having the car, we have been having issues with the right sliding door. It either won't open, won't close, or prompt a message on the dash about there being a problem with it. Today I take it in to get serviced and they tell me I have to pay for a rental. $40/day for an unknown amount of time. Every other Honda dealership I've ever been to offers loaner cars at no cost. Leaving one star is an underrepresentation of the type of treatment me and my girlfriend received at Honda of the avenues. What seemed to be a simple AC fix with an official bulletin turned out to be a nightmare. After being given THREE different estimates for the job, extra work done that we never asked for, and being told different amounts of freeon, we were fed up. ***** at the service department responded to our first call and proved himself to be a despicable person. Searched for particular vehicle for months, it turned up at Honda of the Avenues, placed deposit, when I tired to take delivery, the dealerships software rejected my check. We had 4 times that amount in the account, have never had a check bounce. Also, service man had locked one of the key fobs in his box and gone home. I did not get the car.

We've purchased 2 SUV''s from Honda Of The Avenues one was Today 12March2023 After a bad experince at ************* my wife drove to Honda of the Avenues.***** *** Is the Man of the Month ***** was very Professional and gave us what my daughter wanted also Bill the Finance Manger was extreme[y courteous and we all appreciate ******** the sales manger who was extremely busy but found time for us ....
