I really love this place. When I last used them, they handled Japanese cars only, but if you have them, this is the place to go to. They are also very reasonable when it comes to price. For the transmission rebuilding for my honda accord, they charged me $500 lesser than the other good ones and it was perfect. They even fixed stuff for free at times while doing the service.
Its a pity that he specializes only in japanese cars. Otherwise others could benefit from him as well. Best mechanic ever. Hands down.
I would rate these guys 10 stars out of 5 if that was possible. I will bet $1000 if you can find me another mechanic who is more honest, and more reliable, and more affordable than Honcura. Enough said.
I haven't had any 'serious' work done by Stanley Yung, the owner of Honcura; but I went there today for an oil and air filter change, and he informed me that I didn't need either yet. I assumed I needed an oil change every 3,000 miles, turns out it's every 5,000, and I thought I should get an air filter every other oil change -- only need it at 30,000 miles.
