Worst experience of my life. I would never recommend this physician to anyone who wants to see their family members die comfortably and with dignity. As an oncologist giving a life altering diagnosis, the compassion could’ve been a whole lot better. I will never forget how rudely he asked my mother “well do you want to throw in the towel?! Do you want to live?!” Instead of focusing on her actual prognosis, she was pushed to receive chemo in which she didn’t even live to receive her first treatment. Dr. Chan is the most dedicated and thoughtful doctor I have met. He went above and beyond to support my mom, call the family (me!) after hours to help us understand and care for my mom. He was patient with my father and truly cared about our family. Thank you Dr. Chan. You are amazing, and god bless you and your family.
