I switched Hilton properties from where I normally stay to the Homewood Suites thinking it would be nicer. I think I made a mistake. I used my Hilton app to check in the day before and request the digital key. I noted a 4PM arrival time. When I arrived at the hotel at five PM my room wasn’t ready. The lady at the front desk was super apologetic and let me stash my luggage behind the desk while I went to get dinner rather than wait. Room was very mediocre (but clean), cleaning staff friendly but didn't speak english (which is fine with me but was difficult to communicate needs), managers were not friendly, on either shift (days/nights). Overall, very underwhelming. It was super quiet though, so no complaints in terms of no loud parties, overabundance of other guests, etc. Parking isnt free, it's $5 a night, not sure if its per vehicle. Great value for a room with a kitchenette! Quiet lobby plus pool and a yard with a grill and outdoor seating. 5 stars.
