Hilton Rewards member and this was the only place where excuses that I am not a gold member when I was greeted. I had to ask for the two complementary bottles of water and the receptionist informed we are independent and do go by the same rules as the other Homewood Suites. Disappointing and I do not plan on staying there ever again. Ill find better service else where.
Took a picture of a roach on the cabinets. This was about 6 am, with the lights on and I’d been up getting ready for work for about 10 minutes. I’d seen one the night prior, and told the front desk. The explanation was it came in through the AC. Regardless there’s roaches. The one from the night prior looked like a German cockroach. Great staff, rooms have a kitchenette complete with a full fridge, stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher. Super close to MD Anderson West Houston building, only thing we didn't like, all of the room lights are brighter than the sun. No dimming the bedside light, bathroom light, or mirror. I'd still stay here, but be ready to use your cell phone or a flashlight for less-harsh lighting at night.
