When my brother’s girlfriend arrived at Homewood Suites in Florence tonight, she booked a room at the front desk without any issues. However, when my African American brother walked in shortly after, the staff examined his ID and claimed they “do not rent to locals,” refusing to honor the booking and all of a sudden the hotel was sold out, with an empty parking lot… interesting. Stayed one night. Guests above us kept making a lot of noise. Otherwise nice stay.
Clean rooms, good service.
Room looks great at first glance. But as the day goes on I realize my feet were getting dirty. Carpet needs shampooing, and there was paint scrapping in bathroom. Water pressure was really weak especially on hot water. Does have a full size fridge and kitchenette
