We had an ordeal with our rooms when we got to the hotel. Apparently the manager did NOT remove the overbooking status and overbooked not only our room but several others... Luckily the front desk worker Diane was able to get us into a smaller room until a bigger one was available. We wanted to speak to the Manager Alejandro but he was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND THROUGHOUT OUR WHOLE STAY!!!! We stayed seven nights at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Destin and loved it. Our suite with the full kitchen was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The staff were very nice, and the location couldn’t be better. Our kids had a great time, and we were very satisfied with everything. Highly recommended.
The rooms are BEAUTIFUL & CLEAN! Room service & all the staff were beyond accommodating & so friendly. I loved our stay here & would 100% come back!
The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly. I particularly remember Jaquita, short haired breakfast chef. She treated everyone like they were guests in her home. The other staff members were easy to chit chat with. One wished me a happy national tattoo day, another we got to talking about career goals. The grill is a nice touch, allows you more cooking capability with having no oven. I suggest large trash cans for rooms that have full kitchens. The pool was clean, not too busy.
