We walked in and didn’t even get greeted by the front desk employee. He was sitting in the back messing with some wrapping on his arm. Then we walked into our room (that we digitally checked into) and immediately walked out. The smell of mold and mildew was so bad my nose was burning instantly. It was room number 109. We were lucky enough to find a hotel Nextdoor that squeezed us in. I stay at a lot Hilton Hotels and this particular hotel is a disgrace to that Hilton name. We are calling tomorrow to get our money back.
We have stayed at this location many times. I think this will be our last visit. With every visit, the rooms become more dilapidated. Although our room seems to have had a few improvements, the beat up bathroom was a deal breaker. I am not paying this rate to stay in a shabby room. Also, the breakfast foods are not the best. We are on the last leg of a 2 week vacation. This is the worst of the 6 hotels we stayed in. At the same price point, Hyatt, Drury and Staybridge are much nicer across the board.
