Sarahi was very rude to speak to. She wasn't helpful at all. Her favorite phrase was "again like I said" it was clear at the beginning of the call she didn't want to help. She would cut me off. I had to tell her are you going to let me talk or you going to keep interrupting me. She finally stayed quiet. She claimed she understood what I was asking but yet still was unhelpful. The homewise construction workers do a very bad, cheap job. It may look pretty at first but they screw up so badly, inspection is a joke, they hooked up the hot water to my friends water hose, there were leaks, and mold underneath the shower and the floors, the flooring was cheap and unlevel, everything was done to such a bare minimum, that your better off doing it yourself from the start, its like they find a messy abandoned building, they dont actually repair anything, everything gets jimmy rigged, and they just paint over... read more
Well I was guided in the right direction only to hit an obstacle. When I explained what happened to my advisor all communication with Homewise fell off the face of the earth. Now they’re not replying to my emails possibly cause they don’t have any other guidance for me.
Failed to keep a scheduled inspection date. Showed up a day early with NO warning and brought the broker, the buyer and family. My wife was working from home and had to keep moving the dogs around, trying to accommodate, while answering phone calls from work. They complained the house wasn't ready for inspection! If you want to come early, with a posse, let us (or our broker) know about it! Bad communication.
While everyone I worked with directly was very nice, and the Youtube home buyer classes taught me a lot, the other reviews are correct, this place is very inefficient. I contacted them in Jan 2025 and didn't get my pre-approval until the end of April, but I know I was buyer ready at the beginning of April. Once I finally got the approval and they matched me with a Homewise realtor, the realtor cancelled our first meeting because she was sick and I totally understand that, but this time of year in my price range, it was hard ... read more
