***** keeps sending emails that states that due to our excellent credit, we can save $275 a month if we refinance with Homeward Residential. My current interest rate is $4.1 %, so why would they do that, since it is not even close to being accurate. Their rates on that day (7/17/2018) were 4.5 to 6%. They said that we would have to buy down to get to $4.1%, even with a 780 credit score, on top of the $5000 it would cost to refinance. This business should b shut down what a total joke. Have tried to refi multiple times and always nothing but run around and endless amounts of silly paperwork for a loan you already have they could care less about there customers and there business ethics r non existent, very sad and very **** poor. I had a house fire ten years ago was living in a tent in my yard with my daughter and there only form of help was to forclose... they have nothing but bad carmaker headed there way. 01/06/2018 Ocwen bait and switch stay its a scam , our mtg company is Ocwen trying to solicit us to use this by sending us repeated ad's reviews are terrible and customer service is worse

Very untrustworthy. Lied to my face. I was quoted rate and fees for a refi. Of course when they sent the docs for signing, they snuck in a half point fee on the loan thinking I will not notice it because it was buried between over 70 pages. I had told them I wanted a loan with no points and they told me to go with the loan they are offering me because it has no points. This was discussed at least on three different occasions. I was well into the process of re-financing our mortgage loan with Ocwen through Homeward Residential when I came across these BBB complaints and D- rating. Needless to say, I was alarmed and suddenly worried. But when I read the 4 complaints, I relaxed because my experience with Homeward could not have been more different (and positive). People please listen to these consumers. Smh I read the reviews and still gave Homeward the benefit of doubt. I to have experienced everything all other complaints have said. I was really stupid thinking there was more to the complaints and it wouldn't happen to me. WRONG.....it is now. Started 10/27/26. Turned in all paperwork and now dead silence a month later no appraisal ordered. So I'm not out of money just stressing because they hit our credit twice reducing our scores so I'm stuck.
