I'm not quite sure how there are so many shining 5 star reviews - I think most must be a fake. Check out the Yelp reviews. They have the worst (or close to non-existent) customer service.
My husband and I purchased an investment property with Home Union in 2017. The transactions went smoothly, but the road to get the property rented was a bit bumpier than expected. Luckily, our client service manager, Jim Moore, has gone above and beyond stayed on top of things and kept us informed monthly of our account charges and balances. Invest in rental property can be a bit tricky in a unfamiliar state, but working with Jim has made things a bit less daunting.
I own five single family homes with HomeUnion purchased over the past 2 years. My overall experience has been very good with no major surprises. As with any growing company, there have been some growing pains. However, in every way, I have noticed significant strides and improvements in HomeUnion from better communication, a clearer web portal, and improved follow up.
