Kathie the owner at Hometown Pet grooming is very pleasant, has a clean facility, has reasonable prices and she does great work. I trust Kathie very much when it comes to taking care of my babies when I take them to her to groom. I have no issues with Kathie as she is the best groomer around in the area.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My dog was allowed to chew through a leather collar and a nylon harness. He was clearly unsupervised despite the fact that he only chews when anxious and must have been making distressed sounds. He is six and has been groomed his whole life without incident before this experience. I was charged more than I was quoted, though I had told her my dog's exact breed and weight on the phone. I went to this place because it was close to my house. From the moment i met the owner there was something i didn't like about her, couldn't place my finger on it. But I didn't want to be judgemental...I should have gone with my gut feeling. my puppy needed grooming and so I left him...I am so regretful. My puppy just isn't the same when he comes home from there.
