Sad to say, but I do not recommend. Dave seemed great & very responsive at first - before I paid him thousands - but when my HVAC issue was not solved, he ghosted me - and - he doesn’t honor his "3-year warranty." I have many many unanswered texts since June. He could have been more personable and checked the things I asked him to, but instead blew me off. As a female customer, I trusted him due to his quick responses & willingness to help - at first. Wish I'd gone with a more established company.
Our AC unit stopped cooling the house so we called Miller’s to come check it. They told us we had a Freon leak and would cost about $2k to fix. They recommended a complete new HVAC system as our system is 15 years old. So we started getting quotes from different vendors and were completely stressed out about the cost (between $14.5k - $20k) for complete new system. I had Hometown Heating and Cooling come out to replace all of our ductwork, including main and air handler return. David was very friendly, professional, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. When we were ready to have the work done, he was able to schedule work within 3 business days. He and his assistant arrived when they said they would be here, on time and without giving me long wait windows. They redid our entire AC system and removed all the old duct work and re worked everything. They were fantastic to work with,communicated everything. It was supposed to be a 2-3 day job but they had a job cancel and were able to do everything in one day. They also cleaned our house as they went and I appreciated it. They also had financing wich was so helpful. Thank you Hometown heating and cooling!!!
Dave and his team were great! Came out very quick and got right to it. Explained everything they were doing and saw, did not try to up-sell anything and gave pointers on how to increase the life span of our AC unit. Highly recommend them if youre in the Virginia Beach area!
