In 1960, Gerry Padon and his son Forest started a dry cleaning delivery service in the suburbs of Chicago. With one delivery truck and door-to-door service, it wasn't long before they had more trucks and opened their own dry cleaning plant. G. Padon & Son Cleaners was established in 1960. In 1980, Forest and Gerry purchased Stuart Dry Cleaners and moved their families and business to South Florida.
