I went there with my 2020 Honda HR-V with a check engine light on and parking break, they told me I should change the battery, because it doesn’t give enough voltage that’s why the lights are present on the dashboard. 2 days later the lights came back on, I went back to them and they told me the car needs a system update and recommended me to go dealership for that. I could not recommend Hometown Auto any higher than I do. I have been taking all of our vehicles - 5 in total - over the past few years. Craig is honest, upfront with his assessments and fair in his pricing. I appreciate how he walks me through the work required, alternatives, and what can wait if needed.
These guys are the best in town
Honest business!! I was told when I took my car in for an oil change, mind you where I bought my car (not in Baraboo), that the back brakes would need replacement in a couple months. For convenience, I took my car to Hometown Auto months later to get brakes done. They told me there is nothing with your brakes. They're good yet. I'll give them my business going forward.
They make sure their customers are well taken care of. You don't see that very often these days.
