Great deal! My room was more like a furnished 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Clean and quiet. Would definately stay again!
My Granddaughter and I got caught in the March 19th blizzard in Iowa between Sioux City and Sloan. A gentleman picked us up and we asked him to take us to the Homestead Inn and RV Park in Sloan, Iowa. Jade, the manager, took us in. Jade made sure we were warm and comfortable. She kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, food, water, etc. The owner went to check on our car, which up the road a bit. He then took us to retrieve our car. This place is a bit odd and seems to be in a phase of transition, it doesn't necessarily look like a motel from the outside and the signage is nearly absent, but we had a comfortable stay here in a room that was more like a little apartment, with a kitchenette, dining area, and a separate bedroom. It appears to be connected to an RV park, and the grounds also contain a coin laundromat (which was open) and a restaurant/lounge which don't appear to be open for business.
